Birdie flies Lemieux to the U.S. Women's Open

On Wednesday, May 9th, 2022 at the Women’s Open Qualifying at the Chaska Town Course in Chaska, Minnesota a dream came true for a local family member and professional golfer Gabby Lemieux.

Scoring a Birdie on the 35th hole took her to a one-stroke victory, tallying a 1-under par 143 to claim medalist honors and a spot in the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open. During the event they withstood two weather delays and were able to still pull off a late triple-bogey to post a final-round 72 and edged her way in, to advance to her first Women’s Open.
