Celebrating Youth Week

On Monday, May 2nd, the Mayor along with the Mountain Home Elks Lodge honored our youngest citizens during Youth Week.

To celebrate youth week, the Elks Lodge along with the City of Mountain Home and Elmore County organized Mayor, Chief, and Sheriff for the day. For one day, Mountain Home had a new Mayor on duty, a new Police Chief, a new Fire Chief and a new Sheriff.

The kids were taught what it means to hold these positions and they had fun too.
