Donna Winkler (Haney)

Donna Winkler (Haney), 86, of Mountain Home, Idaho passed away Monday, April 4th 2022.

Donna was born in South Dakota in 1935. She was a military wife which brought her to Mtn. Home in 1968.

She worked as a custodian at West Elementary and was adored by all the students and staff.

Her 6 children felt blessed to have such a caring and giving mom who worked hard to support her family.

She was loved and spoiled by her 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Donna enjoyed bowling, playing bunco with her friends, and taking yearly trips to the Oregon coast to sit by the ocean. She also enjoyed looking for flowers and garden art for her yeard, and feeding her birds and squirrels.

Donna loved spoiling and spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by four of her children, Connie Paquette, Linda Joshlin, Karen Hill-Harman, and Ann Lively.

She was preceded in death by her two children, Thomas Herman, and Teresa Herman.

Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren all say they will miss her cute sense of humor. They know she is now with her loved ones in heaven.

As per Donna’s wishes, there will be no service.
