Nolasco focuses on helping female students

Janet Nolasco, a senior at Glenns Ferry High School focused her Senior Project on helping the female students at GFSD have better quality feminine products available to them at school. Nolasco stated “When I first began this project, I thought it might not go as well as I was hoping. I was concerned that people would not see the importance of the issue.”

There was an outpouring of generosity and kindness from the community with a large number of feminine hygiene products that were received. Plus, many sent kind notes and words of support. These supplies and the money that was also donated to the Project will be used throughout the district.
