Gov. Little signs “Leading Idaho” bill to improve services for seniors

Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 687 into law today, March 21 at the Mountain Home Senior Center, signaling the importance of investing in Idaho’s growing senior population.

Governor Little also signed a proclamation today recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Senior Nutrition Program, which has funded local agencies and non-profit organizations that serve home-delivered and congregate meals to help older adults and people with disabilities gain opportunities to maintain their health and independence.
