Kimiko Yamamuro Sink

Former Mountain Home resident Kimiko Yamamuro Sink, a.k.a. "Jeanie" 94, died in her sleep Feb. 6, 2022 at her son's home in Orem, UT. Born August 5, 1927 in Tokyo, Japan, Jeanie lived in Manchuria, China and Japan before meeting Eldin L. Sink. After her marriage to Eldin, their first home was at Yokota Air Base, Japan, where he served with the U.S. Air Force. She moved to the United States shortly after, first to California and then to Idaho. Jeanie was a resident of Mountain Home since the late 1950's, until her health required she move in with her son in 2021. She loved fishing and bingo. Eldin died in December of 1986. Jeanie is survived by her son, Ken and daughter-in-law Suzanne Smith, Orem, UT.; former daughter-in-law Sharon Brinkerhoff Sink, North Ogden, UT.; six grand-children and five great-grandchildren.
