Commissioners & Elmore Co. Water Advisory Board confident in contract to complete final project design for Anderson Ranch Dam

In a press release from the IDWR in late November, they voted unanimously to approve a contract with the Bureau of Reclamation to complete the final project design and construction of a six-foot raise of the Anderson Ranch Dam, increasing reservoir storage by approximately 29,000-acre feet.

On the heels of this announcement, there were two meetings this past week that rejoiced at yet another step forward in the project. Our county is also engaged in the Snake River water project.
