Letters to Santa

Wednesday, December 1, 2021

Santa’s official mailbox is out and ready to receive letters from children.

Each year the members of the Mountain Home Fire Department are granted special access to the big man himself, Santa Claus. At this time of the year, Santa is extremely busy, so Santa has asked the Firemen for help. The Firemen take the letters written to Santa and deliver them to the North Pole. Once Santa answers them, Elves return the letters to the Fire Department members, who then deliver them back to the children via a Shiny Red Sleigh (firetruck). The Firemen even give every child a candy cane for being so good this year.

Letters from Santa will be delivered to children on December 9th & 16th between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Letters to Santa need to have a good physical address and phone number along with the child’s name. Letters from families should be bundled together to make sure letters are all delivered on the same night. The mailbox will be picked up on December 15th and is located on the side of Fire Station #1 at the corner of E. 2nd S. & S 2nd E.
