County Commissioners meet to discuss Mayfield Township

On Friday, July 30th of 2021, the County Commissioners met at the War Memorial Hall with a development team that is representing the community of Mayfield, to discuss the founding of a civil township.

The Meeting was held to clear up several miscommunications and exceptions that were necessary to the founding of the township, and to provide the Commissioners an opportunity for questions should they arise.

The roadblocks to the founding of the township, are an odd catch-22. To meet the requirements of a preliminary plat (which is necessary for the founding of the township).
