City Council Brief

The Mountain Home City Council met on Monday, March 8th for their regularly scheduled meeting. There was a full council present of Councilmen Bundy, Brennan, McCain, and Stokes along with the Mayor, making a full quorum.

The Council received a presentation by Alexis Pickering with Central District Health speaking about the “Elmore County Get Healthy Idaho Grant” that Elmore County was chosen for. The Elmore County Health Collation, receiving the grant through IDHW and Western Idaho Community Health Collaborative (WICHC) is a 4-year grant opportunity that will benefit programs directed at suicide, obesity, and diabetes to name some examples.
