MHPD Responds to Local Shooting Incident

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (Jan. 26, 2021) – On January 25, the Mountain Home Police Department responded to the 800 block of North 8th East for a report of a shooting. Units arrived on scene and located the victim in front of the house. The victim was transported to Boise for further care. It is believed the victim is in stable condition at this time. The suspect was located at the residence and detained. There is no threat to the public at this time. This is an ongoing investigation, and no names are being released at this time. The Mountain Home Police Department would like to thank Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, Elmore County Ambulance and Elmore County Rescue for their assistance.
