School District opt to open schools

On Tuesday evening, August 4th, the Mountain Home School District Board of Trustees voted to open schools in phase 2 (Yellow) of our reopening plans.

This means school will start on August 17th for students who are attending the in-person classes. During phase 2 (Yellow) they will be using a hybrid model. Kindergarten through sixth grade will attend a half-day of school Monday through Thursday. The other half of the day they will be learning remotely.

Each day one-half of the students will be at school for the morning session and one half will be at the school for the afternoon session.
