Elmore County Sheriff's Office looking for publics help in rape case

****PRESS RELEASE****

The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office is Investigating a Forced Rape that occurred in the Pine/ Featherville area on May 3rd, 2020. The area of concern is near Johnsons Bridge (hot ponds) and Bronco Gulch Camp site.

The victim was with a group of friends in the early morning hours at approximately 12:00 AM and left the campfire area briefly and was attacked from behind. The victim was transported to a Boise hospital for treatment.

As Detectives continue developing leads in the case, we are requesting that anyone in the Johnson Bridge and/or Bronco Gulch area who noticed anyone or anything that looked suspicious or out of character during the timeframe of May 1st through May 4th, 2020, to please contact the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office at 208-587-2100 and leave a message for Detectives.
