Thursday, January 9, 2020

The Board of Trustees met on January 2, at 5 p.m. at the Mountain Home Public Library for its regular meeting.

Last year was a time of continued growth for the library, including the addition of notary services, increased youth services, programming to focus on kindergarten readiness and continued outreach efforts with school libraries during the summer months.

In an effort to ease barriers to library services, installation of a drive-through book-drop is being considered. Efforts are being made to increase circulation in under used collections and to update ILS standards.

Online meeting room reservations and in-house technology checkouts are continually being evaluated and implemented.
