Mountain Home girl badly burned; family in need of support

Tuesday, December 17, 2019

A Mountain Home family is in need of the community’s support after a very unfortunate accident over the weekend.

A major accident happened to their daughter Aaliyah who had reached over the counter not realizing there was a candle, her shirt engulfed in flames in a matter of seconds her shirt was melted to her body...she has third degree burns on 25 percent of her body from her upper butt to her head, her ribs, her front torso, hands and foot. She has been taken by life flight to Utah where she will be in ICU for a month if not longer. Doctors are predicting 90 percent of her burns will require skin grafts. Her parents will be out of work while they are supporting their little girl and they need the community’s help even if it just prayers anything helps right now! Please keep Aaliyah in your hearts.

Aaliyah is asking for Christmas cards to decorate her hospital room. They can be sent to:

A gofundme page has been set up for the family, you can find it by going to this link on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/donate/2260048280960943/
