Boise Man whose death is being investigated as homicide had ties to Mountain Home

BOISE — The death of a 43-year-old man found in Ann Morrison Park Thursday is currently being investigated as a homicide, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

The office identified Roque Leon Arellano, of Boise and formerly of Mountain Home, as the man found in the park’s southwest corner Thursday morning. According to a Thursday news release from the Boise Police Department, officers received a call about Arellano’s body not long after 8 a.m. Police believe he died Wednesday night or Thursday morning, according to that release.

“This case is open and ongoing and is currently being investigated as a homicide,” according to a news release from the Ada County Coroner’s Office, sent Friday morning.
