The Barber Chop opens in Downtown

Mountain Home has a new "Barber Chop" in town. Owner Sondra Whalan recently relocated to Mountain Home to open her business in town hoping to cater to a specific clientele. Her business "The Barber Chop" is located at 352 N 2 E, Tuesday - Friday 9-6 and Saturdays 9-4.

The official ribbon cutting on Monday September 23, included members of the Chamber and City to welcome Whalan’s business to town. The shop offers traditional haircuts and services for men and boys. At this time these include hair cuts, beard services and straight edge shaves. She will consider including coloring appointments since she has had the request locally. Whalan has been in the business for 16 years and five of those years were as an instructor. We welcome new business owner and service provider Sondra to Mountain Home.
