Thursday, August 29, 2019

ELMORE COUNTY, IDAHO – Four public meetings will be held across Elmore County to explain and discuss the update process for the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. The meetings will take place in Pine and Glenns Ferry on Tuesday September 24 and in Mountain Home and Oasis on Wednesday September 25 (see details below). The meetings are designed to explain the purpose of the Elmore County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, report on the progress made on the 2019 plan update, and take questions, comments, or other input.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires that counties update their hazard mitigation plan every five years to remain eligible for federal funding for hazard mitigation projects.
