WECRD releases breakdown of construction costs

The Western Elmore County Recreation District recently released a breakdown of construction costs related to the indoor pool facility on its Facebook page. Currently the district has a balance of $4.1 million from property taxes to go towards the build. The total project is estimated to come in at $8.2 million an option to phase the construction of the facility would have the leisure pool side being built first would cost $5.7 million.

On June 28, the Recreation Foundation of Elmore County began a fundraising campaign to go towards the construction of the facility. As of July 29, the campaign had generated $350 of the $1,000,000 goal.
