Celebrating Independence Day
The fourth of July celebration went off with a bang with the sounds of whoops and hollers of the crowds echoing across town. Each year the Mountain Home Fire Department strives to present an event that pleases the crowds and brings all the oohs and awes and this year they did it again.
We spoke with Chief Mark Moore this week as a follow-up to the fireworks display, last Thursday night. He was totally pleased with the size of the crowd at the golf course this year and the over-all participation of the 100's that watched from their homes, and other viewing spots around town that only added to the crowd of those watching the display. He added that the seats at the golf course are the best to be had and the public crowds were very respectful of the business environment they were in.
