Citizen goes before City Council to address traffic concerns

Thursday, June 20, 2019

The Mountain Home City Council met on June 10, to discuss issues pertinent to the running of the city.

The first matter up for discussion was with Andrew Bailey. Bailey presented the City Council with a list of ideas to help better control traffic violations that happen on his Cinder Loop Street.

Bailey has lived there for over five years and has developed concerns for pedestrian safety. He requested a crosswalk for children getting off buses and pedestrians exiting the walking path in the past. Unfortunately, the crosswalk has not done much to help in keeping people from speeding or maintaining their lane of traffic.
