Golden 50th Jubilee fundraiser and celebration for the Owyhee Museum

Murphy, Idaho will celebrate their “Golden 50th Jubilee” June 1 & 2, during the annual Outpost Days event. This is the big fundraiser and celebration for the Owyhee Museum. The event will last two full days with Saturday will be the biggest day. Local history buffs, car and cowboy enthusiasts will have a great time visiting the many demonstrations and vendors. Murphy is located approximately 55 miles from Mountain Home by taking Hwy 78 from Grandview.

Events start out with a Buckaroo Breakfast both mornings from 8-10 am.

There will also be a plethora of lost art demonstrations with something for everyone in the family to enjoy, such as: free trappers, blacksmith, gold panning, gunslingers, quilting, tatting, canning, and branding being showcased as some of the lost arts. There will also be hay rides, sheep dog demo, mustangs, music and vendors.

Bring you classic car down and take part in a free car show while you relax and show off your car. They would love to have as many cars as possible. There will be all kinds of cars from Model Ts to 1940s and 50s.
