Jury finds Stafford Not Guilty

Jury selection began last week on Monday April 15th and continued directly on to the trial in the John Stafford case where Stafford was accused of count 1. Rape-Victim was asleep or unconscious and incapable of resisting and counts 2. & 3. Assault – Aggravated (with a deadly weapon or instrument), and after approximately 3.5 hours of jury deliberation on Friday evening, April 19th 2019, the accused was found Not Guilty.

  • Albert Clement....I agree. Being arrested for the same thing again and AGAIN being found not guilty leaves me with no faith in our justice system or our community whatsoever. Disappointed and angry that he is out and able to continue to do harm to others. He won't stop. He has been doing these things for a very long time and keeps getting away with it.
