District proposes change to future recreation building

Wednesday, March 28, 2018

During a special meeting the evening of March 26, the Western Elmore County Recreation District came to a new conclusion on the future recreation building.

Held in the lobby of the district's headquarters due to a regularly scheduled 4H meeting, the directors began by revising the lease agreement for a ball field with the city, currently set for 10 years. Once a final draft comes together and is signed by the city, C2 Construction will be conveyed the money owed.

The majority of the meeting, however, was spent determining whether or not the directors need to meet with an architect about new plans for the building.
