Council addresses budget requests, local improvements

Budget requests and planned improvements to city facilities were among the topics addressed by the Mountain Home City Council during a public meeting June 12.

The council learned that the city received an inheritance of sorts specifically earmarked for the Mountain Home Animal Shelter.

Barry Lloyd Anderson, who passed away in August 2014, left $50,000 in his will to help fund the shelter.
