Dealership's donation helps MHHS' speech, debate team

Darren Potter, general manager of the Mountain Home Auto Ranch, joins members of Mountain Home High School's Talkin' Tigers speech and debate team as he presents a $3,500 check during a gathering at the high school on April 12. The money will help three members of the team attend this year's national speech tournament in Birmingham, Ala., in June.

A donation from a local vehicle dealership will help three Mountain Home High School students complete their quest to attend a national-level speech and debate tournament this summer.

During a presentation April 12, Darren Potter from the Mountain Home Auto Ranch presented the Talkin' Tigers team with a $3,500 donation on behalf of his company.
