'Charge!'

Children and their parents made a dash across the East Elementary School playground during the annual Community Easter Egg Hunt held Sunday afternoon.

Sponsored each year by Sabre Lodge No. 7, Free and Accepted Prince Hall Masons, dozens of children made the annual trek to collect their share of eggs. While the younger children searched the school playground, older children made a similar dash across Carl Miller Park to claim their share of Easter goodies.

An Easter celebration organized by the River of Life Church of God on Saturday included food, games and a petting zoo.
One of the newest members of the Mountain Home Public Library pauses while counting her Easter eggs during a hunt conducted on Friday.
