Lee Anne Kearby, 65, of Mountain Home, passed away March 14, 2017, at her home. Lee Anne was born Nov. 15, 1951, to Arlene and Boyd Carrico and was the oldest of the four siblings in which she lovingly helped care for growing up.

She met and later married Ron Kearby in 1970, and together they had the love of their lives -- their son, Mike Kearby. The sun rose and set on their only child, and together they loved him to the ends of the Earth.

Lee Anne began her hard working life at well-known places like A & W and The Hungry Onion. Lee Anne, also known as "The Phone Lady" to many, went on to work for Mountain Bell turned Qwest, putting in 25 years before retiring in 2003.

After her retirement, Lee Anne worked as a part-time bartender at her favorite hangout, Adrian's Club. She enjoyed golf, horse racing, fishing, spending time at the lake and most of all, spending time with her friends, family and her beloved dogs, Micky and Annie.

She loved to tell hilarious stories to her grandchildren in her treehouse while shooting peanuts at the squirrels with the slingshot.

Lee Anne always offered her bizarre sense of humor, whether you wanted it or not. She was the center of attention everywhere she went and everyone loved the fact that she could bring a smile to their face, no matter the circumstance.

She always had everyone laughing, and her energy was contagious. Lee Anne touched so many lives in so many different ways. She will truly be missed, and her absence is definitely leaving an empty spot in many hearts.

She was preceded in death by Ron Kearby, father Boyd Carrico, step-father Tony Ramsey, grandparents Albert and Elizabeth Eichholz, grandparents Joe and Mildred Carrico, and her loyal pets, Micky and Annie.

Lee Anne will be greatly missed by her son, Mike and his wife, Brandie Kearby, and her doting grandchildren, Oakleigh and Stone; her mother, Arlene Ramsey; sisters Shirley and her husband, Keith Prickett, and their children, Marie and Rosie; Toni and her husband, Randy Sevy, and their children, Jolee, Brooke and Katelyn; Jimmie and her husband, Aron Bennett, and their children Mattie and Jace; brother Joe and his wife, Sandy, and their children, Allison, Andrea, Chloe and Jake; very special friends, Debbie and Dave Sandberg and many, many, many other special friends.

A "party" for the fabulous life of Lee Anne Kearby, a.k.a. "LA Woman," will be held at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home on March 31, 2017, at 1 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate the many hilarious and loving memories that she instilled in all of us.

Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
