Report: State water outlook on track

Abundant snow and rain are leaving the state in good shape so far this year, according to the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Lakes, streams and reservoirs across the state remain in good shape after winter storms last month continued to bring needed moisture to Idaho, according to a report released last month by the Natural Resources Conservation Service.

Precipitation since the water year started Oct. 1 varies across the state with the majority of the watershed basins at 96 to 170 percent of normal.
