Shop local winners named -photo correction

A number of Mountain Home residents walked away with an assortment of prizes during a contest held last month that sought to encourage people to shop local.

Held in conjunction with the American Express Shop Small Campaign, contestants used their smart phone to snap a selfie of themselves standing next to one of the Santa Local Joe displays at participating businesses.

Janice Ausburn was the overall winner of the shop local promotion after she posed for "selfies" in front of each of the businesses in Mountain Home participating in the contest.

We have corrected the photo for Miss Janice! In the package of photos and information we received we goofed matching faces to names and published Miss A.J.'s photo in the paper and I apologize for our error. We have corrected the photo on our website. BUT congrats to you too A.J. That is a great smile!! . Seems you were also a winner that day as well. Great promotion and congrats to all the participants.
