Edward Dean Moore, age 72 of Mountain Home, passed away on Nov. 4, 2016, at a care center in Boise. A celebration of Ed's life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, at the Stockyard in Mountain Home. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Ed was born Sept. 9, 1944, in Beauty, Ky., the son of Taft and Emma Moore. He was the baby brother to two brothers, Gene and Grady, and a sister, Doris.

Ed served his country in Vietnam and retired as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He was an amazing father to five, Tina, Tammy, Richard, Amanda and Samantha, and a grandfather to three grandchildren.

In his free time, he loved to fish, go camping and enjoy a nice drink with some of his best buds. He was a wonderful man. He always left some kind of impression to anyone he met.

May he rest in peace with love from all his family and friends.

Ed is survived by his children, Tina and her husband, Geoff Davies, of Colorado; Richard and his wife, Kasha Moore of Boise; Amanda and her husband, Mike McKinney of Boise; Samantha and her husband, Aaron Sauceda of Boise; brother Grady and his wife, Nancy Moore of Florida; sister Doris Mollett of Kentucky; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tammy Moore; and his brother, Gene Moore.
