Local airman sentenced on felony sexual abuse charge

An airman from Mountain Home Air Force Base was sentenced to six years in prison on amended child injury charges during a hearing in district court on Oct. 24.

Robert L. O'Neil, 20, was convicted on a felony count of injury to a child with the court dismissing a misdemeanor count of using an electronic device to entice a minor child under the provisions of a retained jurisdiction.
