Health club students honored during state leadership event

Nine teens representing Mountain Home High School's Health Occupations Students of America club earned honors following their participation at a state leadership conference held last month in Boise.

"HOSA represents our health care leaders of tomorrow who are already making a difference today," said team advisor Karen Brescia. "We participate in community service oriented activities and projects throughout the year, we promote the education of future health professionals and present a message of good health, positive choices and acceptance for all teens."
