Local teen claims Gold Key honor

An aspiring author from Mountain Home High School recently won state- and national-level honors for her work on an essay honoring a family friend.

Emily Lampman earned the Gold Key and the American Voices award during the state's Scholastic Art and Writing Contest, which honored four other student authors in Idaho.
