Local free fishing day event set for June 13

Anglers young and old will gather at Legacy Park during this year's free fishing day event.

Amateur anglers are expected to join seasoned fishermen at Legacy Park June 13 during a yearly event aimed at introducing people of all ages to the sport.

Hosted by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, the free fishing day event remains the one time of the year where people can fish anywhere in the state without a license.
