A night to celebrate excellence...

Performers with the high school's Encore Company perform excerpts from their upcoming presentation of Pinocchio during last week's fine arts awards show. Curtain call for the acting company's last presentation of the year is May 7 to 9 at Lloyd Schiller Gymnasium.

Artists, musicians, singers, writers, craftsmen and performers gathered at Mountain Home High School last week to recognize the outstanding achievements of selected students during a yearly ceremony April 21.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the creative art awards show presented 19 awards to students representing the school's various clubs and fine arts programs in recognition of their ability to far exceed expectations in the fine arts.
