Juana Dominguez-Barroso

Juana Dominguez-Barroso, age 61 of Grand View, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015, at her home following an illness. A viewing was held Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 4:30 to 6:45 p.m., and a Rosary began at 7 p.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, and burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Grand View. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Juana was born Dec. 16, 1953, in Mexico, the daughter of Miguel Dominguez and Maria Catalina Ranguel. She was the eldest of eleven.

She and Lucio met and after a short engagement were married in Romita, Guanajuato, and spent 44 years together. They raised two children in Mexico then later moved the family to Idaho in 1983.

Juana was a very kindhearted and giving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She had a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eye that drew people to her. Her family and friends will miss her and remember the unforgettable memories along with her heart and strength.

Juana is survived by her husband, Lucio; her daughters, Martha and Rosalia; her sisters, Berta, Silvia, Margarita, Laura and Rosa; her brothers, Benancio, Jaime, Angel, Abel and Miguel; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Kelly, Janet, Kristian, Erika, Kiara and Aaliyah; and her three great-grandchildren, Enrigue, Jordan and Nevaeh.
