Ciconne appeals life sentence

Albert Ciccone, sentenced to life without parole after his conviction in 2005 for killing his pregnant wife, has filed for post-conviction relief, seeking to have his case overturned on the grounds that his counsel was ineffective and incompetent.

An initial hearing on that motion was held before Fourth District Judge Lynn Norton last week in Elmore County.
