Fire department open house set for tonight
Wednesday, October 8, 2014

Fire Marshal Brian Reed showed students at East Elementary School how his firefighting gear works during a briefing Oct. 1. Reed made similar visits to each of the city's elementary schools as well as local daycare centers.
An open house Thursday evening will culminate a week-long observance aimed at promoting fire prevention and encouraging people to check smoke detectors in their homes.
The Mountain Home Fire Department's annual open house will run from 5-8 p.m. at Station One located behind Paul's Market.
