Louella Wetzel
Louella Margene Wetzel was born July 31, 1928, to the late Frederick and Lillian McGuire. She peacefully returned to her savior on Dec. 23, 2013, in Venice, Fla., with her family by her side.
She was born in Pratt, Kan., and then later moved to Witchita.
She married the late William O. Wetzel Jr. in 1946 and together they shared 67 years together.
She is survived by her sister, Juanita (Roger) Norton, and brother Fred (Katherine) McGuire, three daughters, Jane (Gary) Garver, Judith Wetzel and Jerry (Dave) Little, son Michael (Bobbie) Wetzel, nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a very happy person, loved the outdoors, growing her flowers, gardening, laughing, singing and dancing, and of course her most favorite saying: "Right On."
Her most favorite thing to do was make banners for the Catholic Church while living in Overton, Nev. That was something she was very proud of.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 811 S. Latah St. in Boise, on Tuesday Jan. 7, 2014, with a 9 a.m. viewing.
