Tennis duo falls

Mountain Home's top-ranked girls doubles team played hard but lost two straight matches during the 4A State Tennis Tournament on Friday.

Seniors Anna Martin and Leah Riley qualified for state with their fourth-place effort at the District III 4A tournament.

Martin and Riley fell to Sandpoint in the opening round, 1-6, 3-6 match. In their consolation match against Caldwell, they came up short, 2-6, 4-6.
