Relay for Life plans coming together

Friday, July 15, 2011

The annual Elmore County Relay for Life Event will start at 7 p.m. at Eastside Park in Mountain Home on Friday, July 29.

The public is invited to join in the activities, which will begin at 7 p.m. with the celebration ceremony that honors cancer survivors and caregivers. Anyone who has survived cancer or who has had someone who has helped them through that experience are welcome to come and join the Relay for Life Committee and Teams to open up this year's event with the Survivor/Caregiver Lap. Those attending do not have to walk the track to participate in the opening ceremonies.

I hope many will donate/walk in this Relay. Not one of you is unaffected by cancer.

Please show support and honor those fighting and those who have left a legacy to remember them
