Fishing enthusiasts catch their fill during free fishing day

Sunny skies and warm temperatures were more than enough of an incentive to draw dozens of people to Legacy Park on Saturday during this year's Free Fishing Day.

Hosted annually by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, the event gave veteran and novice anglers here a chance to fish at the city park.

It's a perfect opportunity for people to give fishing a try "and perhaps develop it into a life-long pursuit," said Jeff Dillon regional fish manager with the state fish and game department.
