Encore Company presents the Grinch

The Mountain Home High School drama department's Encore Co. will present "How the Grinch Stole Christmas,' the Dr. Seuss' classic story, this Friday and Saturday at the Mountain Home High School gymnasium, beginning at 7 p.m.

The 40-minute show is described as "great holiday entertainment for the family." All tickets are $3 at the door.

The Dr. Seuss story wasadapted by Timothy Mason and Mel Marvin for the stage.

Jared Gales will portray the Grinch and Melodie Lettkeman is Cindy Lou Who, the sweet Who child looking for the true meaning of Christmas.

The story involves the Whos, who "all love Christmas a lot, but their neighbor on Mount Crumpet, the Grinch, does not." The Grinch's mischievous antics are causing trouble and the Whos' Christmas is in danger.

  • Actually I think this is on Friday and Saturday at 7:00. There is a girls home basketball game tonight.
