Santa Claus makes his way down American Legion Boulevard during this year's Christmas of Lights Parade last Friday. Despite the weather, hundreds of people gathered to welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus and to catch the myriad of floats participating in the annual parade.

A solid turnout of several hundred people braved the bitter cold last Friday evening to enjoy the Chamber of Commerce's annual Christmas of Lights Parade.

The events for the evening also included the lighting of the community Christmas tree in Triangle Park.
