Friday, July 9, 2010
Representatives with Lockheed Martin will bring the F-35 cockpit simulator to Mountain Home from July 14 to 15.

As Congress and the Department of Defense consider where to base the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, the Lockheed Martin Corporation will allow people here to experience flying this next-generation jet.

The corporation will station a cockpit simulator at the Elks Lodge in Mountain Home from July 14 to 15 to let people take the plane on simulated missions.

This event will open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days at the lodge.
