Charter high school offers online programs

Friday, July 9, 2010

College of Western Idaho Adult Basic Education, in conjunction with Richard McKenna Charter High School, is offering an online summer GED and basic skills study session for those 16 and older and no longer enrolled in public school.

The purpose of the self-study session is to provide a service to those who were too late to start before summer break began, and who would like to get started before regular classes begin in the fall. Students who already started the program during the last session that started in 2009, and who wish to continue, should plan on resuming when the fall session starts.

Those interested in participating will need to have or be able to arrange for internet access so they can do online study in those areas they may need to improve in before taking the GED exams.
