Police investigate stabbing

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

The Mountain Home Police Department continued this week to investigate a stabbing near American Legion Boulevard the morning of June 20.

According to police spokesman Sgt. Rick Viola, two men attacked a 19-year-old man as he walked to the local Maverick service station around 3 a.m.

The incident occurred in a grassy field next to a church adjacent to the service station. Words were exchanged as both men approached the victim, which apparently triggered the fight, Viola said.

  • Better late than never. Perhaps you could provide funding for the MHN so they could afford to employ journalists on the clock 24/7? Otherwise, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
