Air Force historian will be featured speaker at Friends of LIbrary meeting Sept. 17

Yancy Mailes, the 366th Fighter Wing historian, will be the featured speaker at the Friends of the Library general meeting on Sept. 17.

The meeting, to be held in the rear meeting room, will begin at 7 p.m.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit volunteer group that works to assist the library by raising funds for special projects, a need that has become particularly critical in times of tight budgets.

Refreshments will be served at the meeting and anyone interested in becoming a member of the support group is encouraged to attend.
