Volleyball Tigers falter at net

The Mountain Home Lady Tigers had a rough night at Kuna last Tuesday, where they dropped conference matches to Nampa and Kuna during this season's volleyball action.

Nampa 3, Mountain Home 1

The Lady Tigers won the first game of the match but dropped the next three as they lost to Nampa during a tri-match at Kuna.

Mountain Home managed a 25-21 win in the first game, but dropped the second game 13-25, the third game 15-25, and the fourth game 12-25.

Kuna 3, Mountain Home 0

Kuna, which also beat Nampa that night, took care of the Lady Tigers in three straight games.

Mountain Home managed just nine points in a 9-25 loss to Kuna in the first game, lost the second game 13-25 and the third game 7-25.

Nickayla Skinner had six assists in the Kuna match, and Tanya McKenzie had three kills and five digs.

The Lady Tigers are on the road this week, going to Columbia on Tuesday and Skyview on Thursday before heading to Twin Falls on Saturday for the Twin Falls Invitational Tourney.
